Get Ready For Next Week-Watch Last Year's June Pocono Race Rewind
Josh's BIG 75th Win
Takes Points Lead For 1st Time in 2012
Walks Away With 50 point lead
75th Career Win
The Coca Cola 600 just shook up NPRS! Josh walks away
from the longest race of the year with a huge win and Craig has a horrible race and is now the one following instead of the
one leading. Craig led the points from the Daytona 500 to the Coca Cola 600, 90 days straight but he has lost
it now. Everyone has closed in after Craig suffered his 1st last place finish. Josh doesn't only take the lead he
takes it with authority. He now has a 50 point lead to start his reign on top. With Josh back in the lead for the 1st
time since his Championship season of 2011 this is bad news for everyone else. This was one of the biggest comeback races
of recent history and the face of our 2012 season is completely different now. All 6 of us can still say we have a chance
after this race. Everyone is now under 200 behind and after what happened to Craig here, anyone can make a comeback!!!
Heartbreak Week For Craig
Craig is going to want to clear his memory and forget this week as he moves on
to Dover. After such a horrible rookie season Craig came into 2012 and won the Daytona 500. He led the points for 90 days
straight leading up to this weekend. He had a 5 pt penalty for late predictions on Saturday night and then he had the worst
possible race with two of his drivers ending up out of race with problems. His points lead before this weekend was 62 and
now he walks away with his head down and is in a position he hasn't been in since February...following. Craig needs to forget
this race and start next week like it is every other week he has dominated this year. A really good race could get him back
to the lead, but if he goes into the race and chokes it could be all downhill from here.
Brian is becoming Mr. Consistency. He is quietly staying right in the thick
of things each and every week. He is now only 16 pts back of Craig for 2nd place in points. Brian has the experience to stay
in contention all year and if he is still in the hunt watch out after that crazy comeback he made last year in the CHASE,
he is gonna be someone who may be battling for the title again this year. His last Championship was 6 years ago but he is
still capable of that same streak he had in the early days of NPRS. Dover is next, a track that Brian swept last year.
THIS WEEK-Dover
Justin tries to avoid 21 straight losses
Craig tries to comeback on Josh and claim
back his spot on top of the standings.
Great battles shaping up for 2nd place and 4th place.
Craig vs Brian and Patrick vs Justin.
Sean is back in reach at 197 behind, if he could hit that 1st win he could
be right back in the fight.
Dover NPRS History
Brian has the most Dover wins with 6.
6 out of 7 years the person who has won the Spring Dover race has also went on to win the fall Dover race. The only person
who didn't sweep was Justin in 2007.
Brian swept the Dover races last season.
